In hazardous locations, where an explosive atmosphere may be present, there are regulations on how electrical equipment must be designed to reduce the risk of an explosion. Leine Linde has encoders for both positioning and speed feedback, which are certified in accordance with the regulations. The robustness of the encoders make them suitable for use in demanding environments.
